Blitz in Seville has a circuit of its own. The Circuito Urbano de Blitz is a season of evening tournaments, each stage in a different bar or kiosk: Cuatrogatos, the Arcade bar on Calle Feria, La Vespa and Lobero on the Paseo de Europa, Habanero, Ágape Coffee and Maraco Perú. Entry costs a few euros and each stage lists a maximum number of players.
Clubs add their own fast chess. The Peña Ajedrecística Oromana in Alcalá de Guadaíra holds a monthly Supercopa that has counted for regional or FIDE blitz rating, Los Carteros in Pino Montano held a spring blitz, and the Tussam club’s blitz was part of the programme of the city open. ASODEA publishes a blitz series at Pub Retórica on the second Thursday of the month, on a page that gives no year.
